So I finally got around to making the 6 gore skirt. It is a lovely fabric from spotlight and taken from this tutorial - http://sewingmamas.com/b/downloads.php?do=file&id=96
I however was not very good at the drafting part and rushed far too much and will need to redo that for the next one! It was too big. I would also prefer a wider elastic next time and I threaded the elastic through the casing rather then sewing it on as I have not done that yet! I measured the elastic but still managed to have too much as well. I am reasonably happy with how it turned out and will make one again taking a bit more care!
