My Journey for 2010 and beyond.
About Me
- Channy
- I am a 25yr old SAHM blessed with an almost 5yr old boy and 2 1/2 yr old girl named Malakai and Lilac. I have been married to my wonderful husband for just over 7yrs. This is my journey for 2010 with many surprises/shocks to come I am sure. My life and the life of my family has been a never ending soap opera of shocks, laughs, tears, heartache, pain, and triumphs. This year I am taking control of my life and trusting more in God to help me overcome anything that comes my way and be the woman he wants me to be. On my blog you can enjoy many laughs and many tears as I battle with depression, weight, being a mum, a wife, Christian and learning to knit and sew!
Welcome to my Blog
So much has happened over the years and none of it I would have expected or predicted as a teenager. I have battled with depression, being overweight from a young teen, traumas in my life and my families and searching for a hobby I could really enjoy and know who I was.
I am still battling with my depression, one day at a time.
I have overcome being overweight and have been within my bmi since November 2009 and my aim is to maintain that this year. With the possibility when the kids are older of becoming a Weight Watchers consultant as I am so passionate about it.
I deal with the traumas day by day and currently see a psychologist. Our family goes into shock when nothing happens! In comparison to teenage years though life is good. I seek God day by day to help me overcome anything that comes my way and His amazing power and strength has held me together this far.
Since using modern cloth nappies with DS from 18mths old and DD from birth I have met some amazing women through different forums and have come to fall in love with knitting and more recently sewing! More things I would never have expected I would be doing but really am loving.
So there is just a little bit more about me and my blog.
