Modkids - Sydney - My first Pattern attempt

Pattern: Modkids Sydney from CM shop

I love how many different ways you can make this one. I made it with long sleeves and a warm bodice as we are definitely getting cooler here!

Fabric: SP tracksuit material backed with fleece from a clearance they had & some lovely fabric purchased off EBay.

I am reasonably happy with this. I love the pattern it is just my sewing skills that need some work but I guess that will come with time. That and the fact that I didn't do much of the ironing mentioned in the directions as I need to buy a new one. Yesterday reminded me why I have not used mine in over 3yrs, put a little water in it and it gushes out the holes at the front and also leaves marks on clothing. So the sleeve cuffs and hems still need an iron.

I also discovered the joy of decent thread as I used gutermann for this. I can't stand the thought of ever using the QA again, my machine loves gutermann.

Typically Lilac was awake till 9pm last night but has crashed earlier tonight so will have to get action pics tomorrow.
