March almost over!

As for sewing I managed to get a reasonable amount done! Lots from my list and some not from my list. Have ordered some patterns to try out and have lots of fabric to work with. Happens very quickly. hehe

I finished off the fleece jacket/coat for Kai and have modeled pics now. Have finished the therapy/heat bags and Kai calls his the comfy thing. :D
Today/tonight I finished off the pj pants for Lilac and Malakai and Kai wore his all day. Lil's was done after they went to bed. I did the fabric up the other way (not intentionally lol) on hers and then did the waist band a bit different. I had a pair of shorts a friend had given me that she had cut out and not sewn but my machine is being painful and skipping stitches and looping and I keep playing with the tension and it isn't working! Sews other fabric fine but being stubborn on this one. Will have to do more with it another day, too tired tonight now.

As for knitting I did start my gloves I wanted to do. Can cans pattern from ravelry but I made too many errors in learning how to do the design and have frogged it and will try again. Did manage to pick up a sale set of knitpro/knitpicks that I am looking forward to getting. My friend Tammy (http://www.minicuteture.com.au/store/44) has done amazing dyed yarns and I have not been able to resist purchasing some.

As for life in general, what can I say I guess. At the start of this year I mentioned to hubby I felt a year of change coming on, so far none of them were what I thought but oh boy is there a lot going on. Some I don't feel ready to share here yet and others I will. As an overview a few things sorting out medically. Looking for a place to move to when our lease runs out here. Next term Malakai starts at a new kinder/school and we want to move closer. Ben (hubby) has been reading a book that has impacted his life heaps in so many positive ways that I had to mention that. I have also signed up for the Crafty Mamas retreat at the end of May so hope we have moved before then!!! I have struggled a lot this month with coping. Today was better though. I know that no matter what is to come God is always with me and I just need to remember that and reach out to him.

God Bless all. Back tomorrow with goals for April!
