My first sewing creation for myself

I am surprised I did not stay up later to add this last night (this morning hehe). I did get hubby to take pics last night once it was finished! I picked up some material from my local op shop and decided it would make a lovely skirt for myself but was not sure if it was quite big enough. So I did some measuring and experimenting and it turned out it was about right. Just turned it over and sewed it together and added elastic and then did a blind hem! My first blind hem!!!!

The result is: (other then a very overtired and excited crazy woman at 1.30am)
